About the Grand Hotel
The Grand Hotel in Łódź is one of the best-known and oldest hotels in Poland, on the representative Piotrkowska Street 72, in the very centre of the city. It opened on 9 October 1887 as a luxury venue and quickly became a favourite of the elites, artists and entrepreneurs visiting industrial Łódź.
The building is a valuable example of eclectic architecture combining classical elements with subtle Art Nouveau detailing. After its most recent thorough renovation (2019-2023) the hotel has retained its historic character while meeting modern standards of comfort.
